"Ach, so! = Aa, soh! Part 2" Exhibition

Makii Masaru Fine Arts
Finished
"Ach so" is one of the few expressions in both Japanese and German that are used in both languages to express surprise.
Germans say "ach so!" when they unexpectedly learn something new, while Japanese say "ah so" when surprised at something they had not previously known. Same expression, similar situation, two different cultures.
Contemporary art aims at the realization of something new, folded into a new experience or sensation, expressed through a novel medium. This is why the artists chose this title for this exhibition. They hope many visitors to the exhibition will find some sense of wonder and surprise, filling the venue space with a chorus of "ach so" and "ah, so!"
