Shinobu Yukishita
This is Yukishita's first solo exhibition in Mito. She was born in Ibaraki prefecture and studied printmaking at Nagoya University of the Arts. Yukishita makes work themed after the light that filters through foliage and that gathers on the surface of water, as well as the colors, smells and sounds in nature. A total of 20 works are on display, including 10 acrylic on canvas works, and 10 pieces using pastel and lithography on paper.
