"21st Koizumi International Student Lighting Design Competition Award Ceremony"

The Italian Institute of Culture in Tokyo is organizing an award ceremony for the 21st Koizumi international student lighting design competition on July 18th (Fri). In conjunction with this event, two Italian artists, Maurizio Pio Rocchi and Alessandra Ragonesi, will stage special dance and music live painting event using black lights.

In addition, a discussion on "Our Living Spaces (The Earth)" will be held prior to the ceremony, taking the planetary environment of the future as the theme. There will also be a workshop where participants can learn to draw "visions", and a birdhouse cafe.
*The Birdhouse Cafe is one of the Science Cafes set up to encourage spaces for casual interaction between scientists and regular citizens.
