Solo exhibition by Naoyoshi Hikosaka, concurrently held with three symposiums to commemorate the publication of the book “The Imaginary Museum of the Imperial Palace” by Asahi Shimbun Publications. Faced with political chaos and policy impasse, Hikosaka advocates the transformation of Japanese society through art. "History Lessons" (2001), one of his important works, reveals the origins of his artistic stance and the roots of his practice.
