We are pleased to present "Tetsuya Shimada : Bandana exhibition —Color & Shapes that Pop" at Media Shop gallery2 in Kyoto.
Following the 2019 Tokyo exhibition “Tetsuya Shimada : My Bandana Exhibition,” this second edition features works originating from pencil drawings, watercolors, and digital illustrations— each transformed into playful designs shaped by Shimada’s sensibility.
Expressions born from daily sketches and studio practice have, over time, found new life as light and airy bandanas.
Around forty one-of-a-kind pieces will fill the space with a sense of openness and rhythm. Colorful, graphical, and rhythmic— Like savoring the shifting seasons, we invite you to enjoy the landscapes created by Tetsuya Shimada.
