How has Photography Changed Our Way of Looking at Things ? Part 2 - Creation
This event has ended.
Part two of this exhibition series will feature photographic expression from the latter 19th century to the 1930s. This was an era where photography developed its own unique artistic and expressive styles.
As modern civil society evolved into mass society during the 20th century, photography also became "art", and established itself as a medium of expression. No longer confined to pictorial shots, photography was now the representative medium of modern technological life. Through the "mechanical eye", we were allowed access to a visual world previously unknown to mortal eyes.
