NHK transmits television and radio news about Japan on "NHK World", a program geared for the overseas audience. Every year, they produce a calender with a selection of photographs from "NHK Calender Photo Contest", which is open to the public.
Under the theme of "The Japan that I want to communicate", they received 2,240 works from 333 applicants this year. 20 awarded works will be on display for this exhibition.
