Picture book maker Ryoji Arai's work "Refrain Refrain" was last year's winner of the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award for literature. This exhibition introduces visitors to "Refrain Refrain 2", which came to being on 25th May, and in which the artist has made use of vivid colour and textured brushstrokes to make an impression on readers.
The exhibition will also have a great variety of other collaborative works on show, made by creators who have been inspired by "Refrain Refrain". There will also be related merchandise on sale, including mugs, picture plates, cotton dolls, T-shirts, tote bags, cushion covers and umbrellas.
