This event has ended.
The formidable progress that Japan made in the Edo Period was greatly related to the Tokaido, the road that connected Edo, Kyoto and Osaka. The road contributed to the development of communication and transportation systems in contemporary Japan.
This exhibition features paintings and maps of Edo and Tokaido for viewers to enjoy the culture and scenery of that period.
