Nishiyama's work portrays unique expressions of light through soft motifs, such as lines similar to those seen in lace and drapes, and subtle gradations of colour. Her new installations again use effects that indirectly manipulate light and colour, and yet they leave a lasting, vivid impression on the viewer. Purposely using the same title as her last exhibition, it will surely reveal many different latent meanings hidden in the words "i-ro i-ke".
