This event has ended.

This is the first solo exhibition in Tokyo for Tomomitsu Tada (1979-), an up and coming artist who's just graduated from CCS North Kyushu Research Program. The exhibition consists of 'the end of the world' series, in which he expresses fearful respect and anxiety for an ultimate resting place he has never seen.
Tada's sketches and paintings of hanged men can come across as a bit lurid, but he is a free-wheeling spirit, filled with curiosity and vitality. He also creates installation and small 3D works. The concept of a place to come home to is often embodied in the world that Tada brings forth. He perceives it as a personal fortress, and expresses a quintessential loneliness through his works.
