Roonee 247 Photography

poster for "Sunprint" Exhibition

This event has ended.

This is an exhibit of photographs taken with "Sunprint Kits" that are sold at Roonee. "Sunprints" are a kind of photographic paper that uses the sun's UV rays to expose images. The characteristics are the use of photograms or contact exposure due to the paper's low sensitivity. Since the paper will not sense light emitted from light bulbs, Sunprints do not require darkroom facilities or chemicals, creating a safe, convenient and eco-friendly photographic material.

In this exhibition five artists were asked to create Sunprints, and photograms, large-scale contact negative and installations will be on display. Sunprint Kits are also on sale at the venue.
