This exhibition celebrates the 100 year anniversary of the birth of artist Savignac, who was born on November 6, 1907, and died in 2002.
The poster artist Savignac, who is especially popular in Japan, is known for his simple style with humorous and personal touches. Savignac's life started with the 20th century, and ended with the beginning of the 21st century. This year marks not only 100 years since his birth,but also 5 years since his death.
