Communications Museum
Finished
130 years have passed since the first post office was established in Japan. In that time, postage stamps have evolved from a simple function of paying the postage rate into beautiful, small works of art, and many important artists have been commissioned to do works for postages stamps. This exhibition features approximately 100 paintings that were done for stamps.
