Artists

Takashi Amano
Sado Island is located almost in the middle of the Japanese archipelago, at the meeting point between warm and cold ocean currents, creating a climate that allows for the growth of a variety of plants that is unique to Japan. This exhibition presents 135 of Amano's works depicting the natural environment of Sado Island, which has escaped the rampant development that has taken place elsewhere in Japan.
