This event has ended.

The "Digital Harinezumi", a hugely popular digital camera with fans mostly in Japan, Asia and New York, went on sale in March 2009.

The secret behind its popularity is its fun, slightly off-center sensibility - rather than image perfection, it offers users a slightly distorted but interesting photograph that recalls the nostalgic feel of 8mm film, and a breezy freedom to take casual, offhand shots that are the perfect match for anyone who wants to capture images that are more "them".

The Digital Harinezumi is sold at the Brooklyn Museum, the New Museum, the MoMA in New York, Urban Outfitters among others, and its fans include Spike Jonze, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Beck.

This exhibition at Logos Gallery is being held to mark its simultaneous release for sale all over the world, introducing viewers to the history behind the camera - its evolution from film to a digital format - as well as photos by artists and movie screenings. Also available for purchase is a limited edition version of the camera that is available only at Logos.
