This event has ended.

Around 2003 Junzo Hongo began to take photographs utilizing only the light of the full moon. Since ancient times the Earth and the creatures which live upon it have held a deep connection with the moon. In the ages when there was no electricity, no gas, the light of the moon, illuminating the darkness must of been a powerful experience. And still to this day the moon continues to exert its strength upon all living things. In his photographic series Hongo captures the landscapes of rocks and deserts, in celestial visions of our planet, with the flow of the clouds, the movement of the stars and the pull of the tide.
