This event has ended.

Centering around the site of the former Tokyo Denki University “Trans Arts Tokyo” is a unique project which last year saw the participation of 300 artists and attracted over 10,000 visitors. This the project sprawls out into the surrounding district with exhibitions and events at 3331 Arts Chiyoda and Waterras, amongst various other venues, presenting a multiple range of creative genres including art, design, architecture and academic research, engulfing the area of Kanda in creative energy. Here artists take up the gaps in the city born from its constant metabolism and invest these with new value in an impressive exhibition which aims to represent Tokyo in its intense complexity. Special features include an exhibition of work from Masato Kobayashi, a discussion between film directors Hiroshi Ishikawa and Kiyoshi Kurosawa, and a dance program within deserted spaces.

Venues: 3331 Arts Chiyoda, Kanda Nishikicho Kyodo Bld., Waterras, maach ecute Kanda Mansebashi, Editory Jimbocho and others
