Ever since Chihiro Iwasaki encountered Shigeru Hatsuyama’s illustrations in the magazine Kodomo no Kuni (Children’s Land) in her youth, she fell in love with his works, and never ceased to respect him even after becoming an artist herself. Commemorating the 40th anniversary since his death, this exhibition will highlight the works of these two artists who were able to open up their own inner children through their art.
