“Chic, le sport ! Ⅸ - Etats de grâce et de violence Shor…”
This event has ended.
The pursuit of physical performance is an aesthetic goal found not only in sports but in dance as well. The elegant, refined movements of dance works such as the legendary ballet “Le Train Bleu” and a movie featuring the perfect swim stroke of Jean Taris completely capture the imagination. The human instincts displayed at the site of battle serve as the origins of sports and reflect gender issues and aspects of society.
This selection of short films, running 70 minutes in total, touch on the multi-layered reality of sports.
Showing on Saturdays, Sundays, and national holidays from 9/1 through 9/29 at 11:00, 14:00, and 17:00.
