Masaharu Sato
The automated world depicted in Sato’s animation, may be seen as a pragmatic normality achieved through efforts towards an ideal and while to many it may represent “progress” to others it will naturally recall the dystopic vision of Aldous Huxley’s “A Brave New World”. In this exhibition Sato ruthlessly confronts us with the harsh reality of our dreams and the fact that we have lost our vision for the future.
