Thomasson Hyper-Art Observation Center 31st Anniversary “Great Thomasson Exhibition”
Shinjuku Ophthalmologist Gallery
This event has ended.
Thomasson Hyper-Art objects, like art itself, are impractical. However, they go beyond mere impracticality, existing as pointless yet exhibited and beautifully maintained attachments to properties. Genpei Akasegawa gave these objects the “Thomasson” name and founded the “Thomasson School of Aesthetics” and the “Thomasson Lab for the Study of Modern Societies. Members have been searching for and documenting these landmarks since 1982. A collection of photographs by the “Thomasson Observation Center” are on display.
Venue: Shinjuku Ophthalmologist Gallery MSE
