This event has ended.

The Russian treasure trove of French painting at the Pushkin Museum consists of such high quality historical works to be even envied by France itself, ranging from the master of 17th century classicism Poussin, to leading light of 18th century Rococo Boucher, to the 19th century work of Ingres, Delacroix, Millet, the impressionist and post-impressionist work of Monet, Renoir, Cezanne, Gogh, to the 20th century figures of Picasso and Matisse. This exhibition gathers 66 select works encompassing 300 years of painting history, including the much acclaimed “Portrait of Jeanne Samary” which is seen as the peak of Renoir’s impressionist expression.
