Numen/For Use
The first exhibition in Asia by the Croatia and Australia-based artist design collective Numen/For Use presents a giant installation made of vinyl tape at Spiral Gallery’s atrium. During the first half of the exhibition, artists and volunteers from across Japan will spend a week creating the installation in a process of daily changes. In the second half, the public is invited to climb inside the tape creation, observing the work while being enveloped by it. There will also be a talk about the installation and a public performance using it as a stage. Everyone is invited to share what the installation makes them feel as a space and as an event.
