Horyuji Temple has been a place of prayers taught by Prince Shotoku since the Asuka period. This exhibition presents some 70 treasures from the temple including paintings and sculptures with prayers for recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake and in remembrance of the Mid-Niigata Prefecture Earthquake that occurred 10 years ago.
