This event has ended.

An exhibition of new works by Hisako Matsumoto, an artist who has sparked debate with ceramics that raise questions about the value of the brand-name goods they replicate. Exploring themes of “phantoms,” these works present clothing as embodiments of desire, envy, and the senses. Matsumoto’s technique of creating layers of detailed decorative work brings out the coexisting heaviness and lightness of ceramics.
