This event has ended.

The 50th installment of “Gallery Staff Selections”, a series introducing artists with ties to Sagamihara, presents the works of Sagamihara City resident Yoshinori Kurimoto. In media including woodblock prints and installations, Kurimoto creates works featuring the forms and apparitions of life’s origins and other motifs that cannot normally be seen with the human eye. These woodblock prints combine vibrant patina and light amber hues produced by overlapping multiple layers of prints with mysterious shapes that captivate and hold the viewer’s eye.
