Who was Takamatsu Jiro (1936 – 1998)? Tangled strings, lights and shadows, chairs and tables out of perspective, sagging cloth, stepladders on brick, paintings… This exhibition presents 50 pieces to explore the mystery of a man who run freely across the world of contemporary art from the 1960s until the 1990s. Held in conjunction with Takamatsu Jiro (tentative title, April 7 – July 15, 2015) at The National Museum of Art, Osaka.
