Makoto Uemura and Gaku Kurokawa, two Tokyo University of the Arts graduates, present installation and performance art offering a “tour” of underground drains known as culverts. They explore the memories and traces of these rivers rendered invisible by urban development, perhaps finding a special kind of paradise there.
