Hideyo Otsuki presents more signature works in which masking tape “mimics” paint. Instead of canvas, this time he uses scraps of paper and wood as a base, tearing, folding, and repairing these materials. “Horizons” comprises numerous attempts by the artist to unite the interiors and exteriors of these works in folded and overlapping horizon lines.
