Based on their research into combinations of real and virtual worlds, this exhibition based on the Villa Kujoyama projects of Julie Stephen Chheng and Thomas Pons uses paper to explore augmented reality technologies, confounding and delighting audiences. Holding up tablets to the artists’ creations, fantastical, dreamlike worlds appear, drawing in the viewer. These “windows” include virtual content as well as that inspired by time living in Japan.
