This event has ended.
Liam Gillick’s “Stardust Expression” to be published in 2017 spotlights the chaos, contradictions, and dark events that come out of the construction of new linear cities. Lillick started the project in 2015 as a work for the Moscow Biennale, continuing the “Letters From Moscow” series without setting foot outside his New York apartment.
For this exhibition (the first stage of the project), Gillick presents wall-mounted installations, graphics, and text-based works against a glowing wall, a new installation made of wood and glowing LED light bulbs. Here he unveils his new series by the title of his book, along with its framework, thereby gradually illuminating aesthetic methods of portraying new connections between life and death.
