Tokyo International Photography Competition (TIPC) was founded with the aim of becoming a bridge between Japan and the international photography community. For the fourth edition of TIPC - the theme of which is “Origin” - a jury of internationally renowned curators, photographers and photography directors has reviewed the 1300 entries submitted and selected eight talented photographers. What are we, where have we come from, and where do we belong? See the answers to these questions expressed in the work of photographers with roots in the US, Belgium, Italy, France and various other countries.
