Lives & Opinions of Future Artists Ⅳ: The Universe and Its Currency
This event has ended.
This Art User Conference series explores the perspective of the “art user” as distinct from current artists, art viewers, critics, and curators when considering the concepts and current situation of today’s art. Topics include The Robert Smithson Without Robert Smithson Project, a discussion of how to realize a giant work of land art at the Kazenosawa Museum of Contemporary Art using a fictional “creator” in the place of the late land art pioneer Robert Smithson. The event commemorates the launch of “Lives & Opinions of Future Artists” first announced ten years ago. Play a role in this discussion of how art forecasted as “the future” comes to fruition.
