Cecilie Bahnsen is a designer hailing from Denmark. She uses materials such as tulle and lace to create elegant garments with feminine silhouettes that incorporate finely crafted details. Bahnsen has created a noteworthy brand, with which she shares her name, that delivers an original style that is breathtakingly while bold.

Cecilie graduated with an MA in Womenswear Design from the prestigious Royal College of Art, London. With a focus on craftsmanship, Cecilie takes inspiration from traditional techniques such as quilting, patchwork, and appliqué embroidery and uses them in new and adventurous ways that show a love for playing with the layering of transparent and opaque styles to create a modern and alluring look. She was one of the 32 names selected for the 2017 LVMH Prize shortlist.
