This event has ended.

Arisa Harada dives into the Japanese folktales that have been passed down since long ago and reinterprets them in three ways - textually (in columns), in drawings, in textiles - so as to express strong female images suited to the present day. The theme of this exhibition is “Yao Bikuni” (Eight-hundred years a Buddhist priestess), a folktale that originates from Fukui area.
