This exhibition showcases contemporary artworks produced by students or alumni of Tokyo University of the Arts in Tokyo and the Royal Academy Schools in London. It is also an opportunity to look at the different approaches of artists from the two institutions. This exhibition’s title, Third Person Shooters/Auto Aim is adapted from video game terms. Third Person Shooter means the game structure where you see the main character moving and shooting in the game and Auto Aim means the game mechanic to lock onto or near targets for faster aiming. This dual title highlights the distinctions between the two groups of artists but through the physical exhibition similarities will become apparent.
