Art and culture flourished during Edo-period Japan and ukiyo-e with its depictions of beautiful people, actors, and famous locales, was at the center of this flowering. However, ukiyo-e also had a playful side full of humor and wit. Divided into seven parts, this exhibition introduces 111 pieces of ukiyo-e full of puzzles and other hidden surprises.
