Suiho Tagawa
2019 marks the 120th anniversary of the birth of cartoonist Suiho Tagawa. His work ‘Noraku’, first published in ‘Shonen Kurabu Issue 1’ in 1931, has become a cultural landmark representative of its time. This exhibition follows the path of Tagawa’s work from his early children-oriented manga to his pre-war masterpiece ‘Noraku’.
