Taro Yasuno
Artist and Tokyo Zokei University adjunct lecturer Taro Yasuno explores the nature of media, technology, methodology, and music. His major works include the “Music Film,” “Search Engine,” and “Zombie Music” series. He has released two CDs: “Duet of the Living Dead” and “Quartet of the Living Dead.” His compositions combine contemporary music and installation art. He was chosen to represent Japan at the 58th Venice Biennale. His latest projects include fanfare music, drawings, and costumes created in response to the upcoming 2020 Tokyo Olympics and the 2025 Osaka Expo.
