The newly refurbished Kamakura Annex will be carrying on the history and tradition of the former Kamakura building that closed in 2016, inheriting its ambition of regarding art from around the world with new eyes, while also making a fresh start. This exhibition introduces the works of modern art for which the place is known as Kishida Ryusei’s A Little Girl (Reiko Standing), Koga Harue’s Make-up Outside the Window and Matsumoto Shunsuke’s Standing Figure, also presenting a range of works from early-modern to contemporary.
