This exhibition takes “memories in thread” and “memories of place” as its themes. It presents paintings, uniforms, and other items from its collection that feature artist expressions of clothing and how it reflects personal character, ambience, culture, society, and eras. There will also be a silk and sericulture display featuring works from photographer Miyako Ishiuchi’s “Kinu no Yume” (Dreams of Silk) series.
