Focusing on paintings of the sea by French artist Gustave Courbet (1819–1877), this exhibition features around 70 works including landscapes and scenes of hunting and fishing by 19th century artists who attempted to portray the natural world realistically.

Adults ¥1000, University Students ¥500, High School Students and under, Seniors over 65 and Persons with Disability Certificates + Companions free.

Access

From the South exit of Kofu Station on the JR Chuo line, take the bus for Shikishima Eigyosho or Nirasaki Station or Kugawa Danchi and get off at Yamanashi Kenritsu Bijutsukan-mae. The venue is a short walk from there.
