Key Hiraga set up his studio in Paris in 1965 and held many exhibitions in Europe. In 1969, he represented Japan at the São Paulo Biennial in Brazil, and his work was included in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York. His work is now highly regarded in the art markets, especially in Asia and Europe. 2020 marks the 20th anniversary of his death. On this occasion, this exhibition presents a retrospective of his unique world with rare oil paintings from his time in Paris, as well as representative works from his return to Japan.
