Ayako Rokkaku
Presenting the work of Ayako Rokkaku (b. 1982), a self-taught, Chiba-born artist who paints directly with her hands on cardboard and canvas. She has participated in events such as Geisai led by Takashi Murakami and received the Scout Award in 2003 and 2006. Works from her “Shaped Canvas” series on the theme of “space wars” and her “flower-based” works are featured here. See the many forms her art takes.
