Sumo, its costumes, banners, and unique fonts are considered representative of Japanese culture and aesthetics. This exhibition letting visitors see, learn about, and experience the wonder of sumo presents genuine articles, a life-sized sumo ring, illustrated explanations, and a Yokozuna’s uniform. Other displays include Ukiyo-e depicting sumo from a Chiba-born artist and sculptures of sumo wrestlers.
