poster for Open Site 5

Ends in 16 days

*As part of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, TOKAS Hongo will be temporarily closed from January 9(Sat) to 11(Mon). OPEN SITE Part 2 will start on January 13(Wed).

Open Site is a Tokyo Arts and Space (TOKAS) open-call program which began in 2016 and aims to build a platform that brings together projects focused on artistic expression across all genres. This year marked the fifth annual call for proposals, and a total of 161 applications were received. Following a strict selection process, successful candidates included four projects in the Exhibition category, three projects in the Performance category, and two projects in the dot category. An additional project in the TOKAS Recommendation Program brings the total of projects being launched to 10. All of the successful candidates exhibited a strong will and sense of freedom, along with a desire to share their projects with the world.
