Mitsuko Hoshino “Touched”
Gallery Pictor
[Image: Mitsuko Hoshino "tranquil water" 21x 30 cm, pigment on Japanese paper, gold leaf, wood panel]
This event has ended.
Rustling of leaves, ripples on water, shifting light and shadow, or the breathing of life: those sounds and forms of nature let Hoshino create artworks which remind us of an intuitive feeling of being. The inquisitive artist presents a fresh approach and visual language evolved from a foundation of Japanese painting, utilizing materials such as polyester, silicon sheets, or graphite. This new solo show is the first in Japan in six years by this Germany-based artist.
