The Chiba City Museum of Art’s collection is organized according to three criteria: “Works associated with Boso, mainly Chiba City,” “Japanese paintings and prints from the modern period to the present,” and “Contemporary art after 1945.

In this exhibition, work representing each collection criteria is sequentially introduced from the collection of about 10,000 pieces. The exhibits are changed about every month (about every three months for contemporary art) to showcase the highlights of the collection.
