This event has ended.

The wood sculptor Mio Hashimoto has been concerned with animal life since the Great Hanshin Earthquake, when she witnessed many creatures lose their lives. Her portrait carvings of animals confront themes of life and death. These works capturing the forms and beauty of life are on display along with sketches created while making them.
